The outer is burly 14oz Fairfield Textiles waxed canvas, which will develop a beautiful patina with age and use, the inner is heavy duty truck tarp liner. When rolled up the bag is functionally a dry bag, so no worries about the precious contents getting wet. 

We added to large external pockets for your essentials and moved them to the side of the bag for ease of access if you're strapping it to a motorcycle. There are also two MOLLE chains running across the top and bottom of the front for attaching accessories, knives, straps, what have you. 

The back is fully padded as are the adjustable shoulder straps. There are detachable sternum sraps included, and a permanent waist strap. 

Inside the roomy main compartment is a laptop sleeve. 

We chose waxed canvas for it's ability to withstand abrasion and heat and because it's one of the few materials that truly looks better with age.
